Robotics Workshop at Pahud Utrecht – Empowering Young Minds Through Innovation

The Invest in Young Talent initiative organized a special Robotics Workshop in collaboration with Welkom in Utrecht on May 20, 2025, at Pahud de Mortangesdreef 61 in the city of Utrecht.

The workshop was attended by children aged 8 to 14, coming from diverse cultural backgrounds and various countries, speaking multiple languages.
Despite this rich diversity, we were all united by a shared love for learning and a curiosity about the world of robotics and programming.

🛠️ During the workshop, participants worked with the Mirte Robot – an educational robot developed by TU Delft – and learned how to program it using the Blockly visual interface. They were also introduced to sensors, motors, and intelligent system interaction.

🌟 The workshop focused on practical learning, developing logical thinking, and enhancing teamwork skills, all within a safe and stimulating educational environment that helped children express themselves and explore their potential.

📜 At the end of the workshop, all participants received certificates of participation, along with small motivational gifts in appreciation of their enthusiasm and to encourage them to continue their journey in innovation.
