On February 21, 2024, Dr. Khaldon Araffa led an exciting robotics workshop at "School de Vriendschap" in Vlaardingen, designed specifically for Ukrainian kids in the Netherlands. Supported by TU Delft as part of the 'Invest in Young Talent' initiative, the event offered participants an engaging introduction to robotics through hands-on activities with the Mirte robot.
The workshop, conducted in Ukrainian, provided a comfortable learning environment for young participants, who enjoyed assembling and programming the Mirte robot under expert guidance. Creative challenges and interactive tasks helped foster problem-solving skills and sparked an interest in STEM fields among attendees.
Participants left with certificates and stickers from TU Delft, celebrating their achievements. This enriching experience aimed to empower young Ukrainian minds through the transformative power of robotics education.
