On April 20, 2024, Dr. Khaldon Araffa led an inspiring robotics workshop at Bibliotheek Kanaleneiland in Utrecht, bringing together participants for an exciting hands-on experience with the Mirte robot. This event, in collaboration with Coder Dojo and Mirte from TU Delft, offered attendees the opportunity to build their own robots, understand essential components, and explore programming with expert guidance.
The workshop was conducted in Dutch and English, with additional support available in Ukrainian and Arabic, making it a truly inclusive learning experience for everyone.
Participants had the choice of working with the real Mirte robot or exploring their creativity by building virtual environments using Scratch, guided by CoderDojo leaders. The event combined learning, fun, and innovation, and left participants eager to explore more about robotics.
